社区标准概述

社区标准 are an integral part of our students’ holistic experience. It serves as a guide for students as they navigate their Trinity experience.

Our 社区标准 articulate the student conduct policies, which set expectations for acceptable behaviors within our small residential community. These expectations are consistent with our work to build a community that fosters 护理, 尊严, 完整性, 和文明.

These standards are in place to keep all members of the Trinity community safe and hold accountable those who violate our student conduct policies. 当违反行为发生时, our resolution process places focus on involved parties working together to repair harm and rebuild trust with each other and with the community. Finding a balance between the needs of individual students and the welfare of our community is an ongoing process, 需要小心的人, 同情, 和毅力.

We encourage students to thoroughly read the student handbook for more information on student conduct and 社区标准, as well as other opportunities that may contribute to their learning and growth as members of the Trinity community.

At the core of community standards are our communal principles:

• 包容性: We foster an environment where we embrace our differences, 庆祝多样性, 分享我们的经验, and value the individual and collective contributions we make to our community.
• 护理: We create spaces that facilitates a sense of belonging and 护理. Provide a network of 护理 by creating opportunities where students, staff and faculty can create meaningful connections.
• 问责制:共同的责任, 护理, 健康, 尊重, 公平, 完整性, 开放的沟通, and 尊严 are expected and embraced in our community.
• 尊重我们提倡社区关怀, one in which everyone is treated with 尊严, 完整性, 和文明. We recognize 尊重 as the foundation for honesty, trust, and meaningful communication.
• 卓越: We embrace challenges as opportunities for growth by engaging in initiatives that deepen our learning, 拓宽我们的知识, enhance our understanding of self and others, and enable us to make positive contributions to our communities.

The 学生和社区生活办公室 and the Bantam Network Residential Learning Community work together to promote our communal principles by helping members of our community develop skills in the areas of conflict resolution, 个人责任, 以及恢复性实践. We encourage students to immerse themselves in the Trinity community by engaging in behaviors which demonstrate 护理, 尊严, 完整性, 和文明 for themselves and others.
